We all know that digital cameras are trending on platforms like ‘TikTok’ and ‘Instagram’. There are so many different brands and prices for these handheld devices. There are so many varying options of cameras on the market so are they really worth the hype?
Is it worth your money?
Personally, I adore my digital camera whenever I’m going somewhere with family or friends I just slip it into my bag and end up with pictures I love by the end of the night. Most of the images I end up printing out come from my digital camera. I own the Kodak Pixpro FZ55 in blue. The camera comes in a couple of different color options such as blue, black, and red. The camera includes the battery, the charger for the battery, and a black plain strap. An SD for the camera is not included.
The camera offers a couple of amazing features, such as automatic flash, a zoom-in and zoom-out feature, and even a recording feature!
Cons
Digital cameras can result in a couple of different cons, for one the battery on your camera can run out especially on an older camera, meaning that you are unable to take pictures for the rest of your night unless it is on your phone’s camera. Another disadvantage is the fact that you have to purchase an SD card separately which can cost anywhere from 8 to 45 dollars. You also need to have somewhere to upload the images to. Personally, I use an SD card reader for iPhone which is an additional purchase to make. On Amazon, it costs $14.99. On top of all of these other costs, the camera itself can be a pretty penny. For a good quality camera, it ranges from 100 dollars to anywhere in the 300-dollar price range.

Digital cameras can be found in stores such as Walmart and Target. It can also be found online on the Kodak website, and Amazon. There are also sellers on TikTok shop, but those can be fake, so make sure to do your research.
